Ocean Kraken

Ocean Kraken is a real-time rendered animated short created in Unreal Engine, developed as part of a school project. I served as the producer, art director, 2D concept artist, and environmental artist, overseeing both the creative vision and production workflow. As art director, I established a realistic visual style, created concept art for key assets and environments, and ensured visual consistency across the project. I also modeled the hero 3D ship asset and assembled the final environment layout, working with lighting and material systems in Unreal to achieve cinematic quality. As producer, I managed timelines, coordinated team collaboration, and guided the project from pre-production through final render. This experience deepened my understanding of real-time animation pipelines and cross-functional teamwork in a production setting.

3D Art & Environment

As a 3D artist and environment designer on Ocean Kraken, I modeled several key assets, including the hero ship, which played a central role in the story and was later used in a destruction sequence. I also created supporting environment assets and was responsible for assembling the full scene in Unreal Engine, setting up lighting and composition to achieve a realistic, cinematic look. My work helped bring the world of Ocean Kraken to life, supporting both visual storytelling and technical performance in a real-time pipeline.
